• The market took a breather today and it was much needed!

• The market is viewed as neutral which is good!

• Be greedy when others are fearful.

Today’s Economic Updates👇

• 30 year fixed mortgage rate unchanged at 6.60% today (same as Friday)

• 10 year treasury bond yield climbs to 4.19% today vs 4.14% Friday

• 86% chance we get a 25bps rate cut Dec 18th, up from 85% chance Friday.

Palantir Is Disconnected

• So pre market today PLTR was pumping on news of a new contract they got.

• Let’s use our brains and really understand just how irrational the market is now with PLTR!

• Palantir announced an expansion of its contract with the U.S. Special Operations Command.

• The one-year contract is valued at $36.8M.

• In the last 12 months PLTR had a total revenue of 2.6 billion dollars.

• So the new revenue from this contract equals 1.6% of TTM revenue…

• Stock was up 6% cause the “robinhooders” are in full effect just pumping it…

• Just think about that, how does it make sense to pump pre market 6% on a 1.6% revenue increase lol…

• Of course the stock reversed today…

• Very disconnected from fundamentals still.

So How Over Valued Is The Company?👇

• Lets start with earnings:

• Q3 24 - 0.06 eps

• Q2 24 - 0.06 eps

• Q1 24 - 0.04 eps

• Q4 23 - 0.04 eps

• Total GAAP TTM - $0.20
  Current price is $74 ish

• 74/0.2 = 367 PE

• PE is literally 367…

• Please understand what you are buying and the valuation level.

• This applies to more than just Palantir!

• All the newbies loving the pump and yea I’m happy for you, but 99% of ppl on social media don’t have a clue about investing.

• They are gamblers and speculators. I am an investor.

My General Thoughts Now

• Everyone is a genius in a bull market

• The market ran up a lot in the last few months and I feel we need to take a breather.

• Earnings are the number one thing that matters in the long run to move the price of a stock.

• Stock prices recently went up way more than earnings.

• So we either need earnings to increase to justify valuations, or we need the market to pull back.

• KEEP IN MIND! I am not selling any of my shares. When I buy shares, I intend to hold them for the long run.

• I continue to buy in the base of my portfolio always.

• I am being careful with options now.

• I am still generating about $30k/mo on average with options even in the current market situation.

• SO JUST TO BE CLEAR, I am not saying a crash is coming! I am just saying to be careful when things are a little expensive.
